Columbia, SC – February 27, 2008 – City Center Partnership is pleased to announce the Main Street Marketplace is back for its 11th season in downtown Columbia every Friday during the months of May and June. The Friday open-air markets for the spring will be held starting on May 2 through June 27 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Free admission and free entertainment.

Charlie Daniels Band - 5/16/08

The Charlie Daniels Band is one of the most enduring country-rock bands to emerge from the '70s. The group's hits include 'Fire on the Mountain' and 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia.' A fusion of Southern rock and hard rock, .38 Special was a huge draw during the '80s. The band's hits include, 'So Caught Up in You' and 'Hold on Loosely.' Shooter Jennings is the son of the late country music superstar Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter.
